hot...hotter...Safari-time

Hey guys...
well It's soooooooo hot outside (36°C /96.8 °F).
This climatic condition inspire my outfit today... it looks very "Safari".
The hat is not only a nice accessory that make the Look perfect, it's also protect me against the excessive solar radiation.

Dieses Wetter hat mein heutiges Outfit inspiriert.. und zwar..."Safari"
Der Hut ist übrigens nicht nur ein tolles Accessoire, sondern auch noch ein prima Sonnenschutz. Ich kriege sonst immer so schnell einen Sonnenstich.

The Shoes are from Birkenstock. I know that the most of all think that they are just for "tree huggers" :D But I like them, although I'm not "one of them"

Die Schuhe sind von Birkenstock. Ich weiß, dass die meisten denken, die Schuhe seien etwas für Öko-Futzis. Aber ich mag sie sehr. Vor allem dieses Modell...ach und nein, ich bin kein Öko-Futzi :D

At this temperature I'm unable to stay at home, because in my small apartment, it's getting warmer than outside. Nevertheless I have to learn for my next exam.
So my new home is the air-conditioned library at the moment.

Bei diesen Temperaturen kann ich einfach nicht Zuhause sein, da mein kleines "Wöhnchen" total warm wird. Es ist dann unerträglich. Naja, leider muss ich aber momentan ziemlich viel lernen, da Prüfungen sind. Daher ist momentan mein 2.Zuhause die gut klimatisierte Bibliothek :)

Hey guys....

What a wonderful day. I did a lot of stuff,which I couldn't do for weeks.
I woke up and thought...Today...just do what you want and what is good for you.
So I put my books away. I went to the city, ate a delicious ice cream, went shopping and met with some friends.
Now I'm absolutely exhausted. Well, that "Freeday" was more stressful than a day in university :D
Nethertheless...guys get out and enjoy the first breeze of summer.

was ein wunderschöner Tag. Ich habe heute einiges gemacht, was ich die letzten Wochen einfach vernachlässigt habe.
Ich bin aufgestanden und dachte mir einfach nur....Nee..Also Heute machst du etwas, was dir gut tut.
SchwuppdiWupp habe ich meine Bücher zur Seite gelegt, bin in die Stadt gegangen, habe mir ein super leckeres Eis gegönnt, habe toll eingekauft und mich dann mit Freunden getroffen.
Jetzt bin ich absolut kaputt :D
Der freie Tag war tatsächlich anstrengender als ein Uni-Tag.
Egal...Leute geht raus und genießt die (fast)Sommerluft.

one piece of garden...

Hey guys,
like most of you already know, since the 18th of march, the garden collection of H&M is finally available.
I couldn't wait for it for months and had so many expectations.
Finally I just bought one piece of the garden collection (most pieces wouldn't available anymore or I just don't like them).
I combined this lovely tunic with a short tight jeans skirt and high gladiator heels.
I think you can also wear this tunic with a tight denim,too. If you don't want to look bigger than you are, It's just good to mix something tight with it, because the tunic is cut quite wide.

Wie die meisten schon mitbekommen habe, kann man die Garden Collection von H&M seit dem 18.März offiziell erhalten.
Ich war so gespannt darauf und hatte so viele Erwartungen.
Letztendlich habe ich nur ein Teil von der Gaden Collection gekauft (leider waren einige Sachen einfach so schnell ausverkauft bzw. waren einige Dinge schlicht unvorteilhaft vom Schnitt für mich).
Ich habe diese hübsche Tunika mit einem engen Jeansrock und Gladiator-Heels kombiniert.
Ich finde, dass man dies auch noch mit einer engen Jeans tragen könnte.
Wichtig, wenn du nicht gerade "breiter" als du wirklich bist,wirken möchtest, dann sollte man diese Tunika, da sie ziemlich weit geschnitten ist, mit etwas engem tragen.

I Love Headbands!

Hey, It's me again.
I would like to apologized for my absence during the last few days. After the last medicine test, I had lot things to do. Above all...Shopping!!! :) such a long period,where I hadn't shopped. And what should I say....I spent to much, but It was worth :)
Tomorrow I will show you some new pieces from my clothes collection.
Now, I want to show you a few headbands and hair accessories,which I usually wear everyday (one of them ^^), especially when I dress casually. They give your style a little bit of glamour or cuteness....like the final touch.

Shopping-Style...

yes, Ich habe es hinter mir :)

Finally I passed all my tests for this semester and after the last test. My friend and I went to the "old-city" in Cologne. We both didn't have enough money to spent(well it's the end of the month^^) Well, I already bought so many things and I spent so much for my carneval-costume and while my learning month,I couldn't work to earn money and I wouldn't like to ask my parents for, to give me money, for my amusement or buy clothes. They give me so much so...thats enough :).
We just decided to walk around and do windows-shopping :)
For that I wore black skirt, petrol turtelneck, black cardigan, black blazer, a nice petrol hat,black shiny shoes(which look like men shoes ^^), check tights and overknees.
It was so dammmmmned cold, but I 'm so nerved by the weather...

bad weather does not mean, bad style :D

how the summerfashion 2010 should be? In the last few weeks a lot fashionlabels showed us, how the summer fashion 2010 should look like.

Having looked at a lot of fashion show pictures I think the next trends will be....

Colour: white, off white, light colours, khaki, black, "eyecatcher"colours are: blue and warm red.

Style: Mini!!!! Definitely mini-skirts, volants, short blazers, cut-off-style,one shoulder, "glam-rock",silky material, layer look, "wrapping" look, a lot of lace, feminin

Shoes: High heels, Plateau, wrapping-look.

Hi, it's me again....

yesterday I went out with my best friend. We just did "Bar-Lounge Hopping" :) That means that we went from bar to bar. We get 1 drink and went to the next lounge. I wore black shorts, with a riveting belt, a blouse (baroque style^^), suspenders, antique earrings, thermo tights in black and wonderful black pumps :D We haven't planned to go clubbing, so needn't be overstyled :) and besides it's still pretty cold in germany (almost -1 to -3°C) in the night, so I thought that this was a pretty good style for a lounge-night to get drinks.

Café Outfit

Hallo, Ich saß letztens im Café und bin dem nachgegangen,was ich am liebsten im Café tue:Menschen beobachten. Dabei ist mir wieder aufgefallen, wie unterschiedlich Menschen sich dem Wetter stylen. Die einen funktionell, die anderen wettergerecht und die anderen..... stylisch!
Mich hat die Kellnerin dann angesprochen, dass es sie erfreut, zwischen all den Leuten mich mit meinem "frechen Look" zu sehen. Ihr gefiele meine Jacke,was sie nie davor gedacht hätte,aber zu mir würde es einfach passen. Ich fand das Kompliment so nett und als sie ging dachte ich mir,dass es wichtig ist,dass Menschen die Mode tragen und nicht von der Mode getragen werden sollten. Meist sieht man auf den Straßen viele sogenannte "Fashionvictims",die sich von den neusten Trends beeinflussen lassen,die aber gar nicht zu denen passt. Nicht jedem Trend sollte man hinterherlaufen. Die eigene Kreativität macht Mode aus :) Also. Viel Spaß beim lesen!
